As a key link in power system, substation plays an important role in voltage conversion, power distribution and system control. Reasonable substation layout can not only improve the operation efficiency and stability of power system, but also reduce the construction and maintenance costs and ensure the safety and reliability of power supply. Therefore, scientific planning and design of substation layout is an indispensable part of power grid construction.
First of all, many factors such as geographical environment, load distribution, traffic conditions and environmental protection should be considered comprehensively when selecting the location of substation. Substations should be as close to the load center as possible to reduce the length of transmission lines, reduce line losses and improve power supply quality. At the same time, we should avoid frequent natural disasters or dangerous areas such as earthquake zones, flood areas, flammable and explosive areas to ensure safe operation. In addition, considering the future development needs of the power grid, sufficient expansion space should be reserved when selecting the site.
Secondly, from the perspective of functional zoning, the internal layout of substation should follow the principle of "clear zoning, reasonable process and easy operation and maintenance". It usually includes main transformer area, high voltage distribution equipment area, control and protection room, cable trench, auxiliary facilities area, etc. A reasonable distance should be kept between functional areas to ensure that equipment will not interfere with each other, and at the same time meet the requirements of safe distance to prevent accidents such as short circuit and arc.
Thirdly, the design of electrical main wiring is also the core content in the layout. According to the voltage level of the substation, the number of incoming and outgoing lines, the reliability requirements of power supply and other factors, the appropriate main connection mode should be selected, such as single bus, double bus and bridge connection. The main wiring scheme should be simple and reliable, which is convenient for switching operation and fault isolation.
In addition, with the development of smart grid, intelligent equipment and automation systems are increasingly used in modern substations. Therefore, the realization of intelligent monitoring, remote control, data acquisition and other functions should be fully considered in the layout planning, and the monitoring room, communication room, relay protection room and other spaces should be reasonably arranged.
Finally, the construction of substation should conform to the relevant national standards and norms, and be in harmony with the surrounding environment. For example, in the construction of urban areas, we should consider the integration with the surrounding architectural styles to reduce the impact on residents' lives.
In a word, the layout of substation is a systematic project, involving multi-disciplinary and multi-professional cooperation. Only on the basis of scientific planning and overall consideration of technical, economic, safety, environmental protection and other factors can the optimization of substation layout be realized and a solid guarantee be provided for the safe and stable operation of the power system.
