4. Vehicle-side adjustment: Some electric vehicles are equipped with on-board charger (OBC), and the current can be further adjusted to match the charging demand of the battery.

According to different charging speeds, charging piles for electric vehicles are mainly divided into AC slow charging piles and DC fast charging piles:

-AC charging pile: 220V AC is generally used, which is usually suitable for home or office. In this system, the transformer plays a relatively small role because the voltage itself is already low.

-DC fast charging pile: This charging pile can provide tens to hundreds of kilowatts of power, and is usually connected to the high-voltage power grid. Therefore, a special transformer must be equipped to realize the efficient conversion from high voltage to low voltage to ensure safe and stable charging efficiency.
